No Boundaries is a specialist training & management consultancy that specialises in diversity and inclusion awareness and education. Our aim is to help make education and workplaces fairer for everyone by eradicating prejudice and unfairness wherever it exists.
We provide anti-racism training in the belief that by working together, we can achieve equality of opportunity and an inclusive and diverse society where everyone is valued and able to succeed. We believe that 'education is the key to unlocking racism' and promoting equality in all arenas.
We work with a wide range of clients in all sectors including education, public, NGO and private organisations. We have worked with schools, colleges, universities, local councils, legal and professional service firms, corporate businesses, housing associations and the criminal justice system - police and prison services.

We believe in embracing the power of difference and working together, to create diverse, equal and inclusive environments where everyone feels safe, valued and able to succeed.
Our team have lived experiences of racism and many years of facilitating and delivering diversity, inclusivity and anti-racism training. Our sessions encourage open and honest discussions through activities that challenge participants to use their critical thinking skills. We ask clients to reflect on their own views and attitudes while exploring the factors that influence our judgements.

Who We Are
Directors & Founders

Sunil Patel
Co-Founder / Operations Director
A son of refugee parents from Uganda, following an early career in the Home Office, Sunil was a founding member of Show Racism the Red Card in Wales. Since establishing the organisation in 2006 the charity has gone on to become the leading anti-racism charity in Wales.
Like Sean, Sunil has experienced racism and exclusion during his life and conveys his lived experiences with character and dignity. He has a wealth of experience in fields of D&I consultancy and training.
As No Boundaries, Commercial Director, Sunil facilitates numerous training and consultancy interventions and is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s client management. As a member of the Welsh Government Race Forum Sunil supported the implementation of the Race Equality Action Plan.

Sean Wharton
Co-Founder / Lead Facilitator
Son of Windrush generation parents, Sean is a former Sunderland FC professional footballer and the first Black schoolboy to play for Wales. Suffice to say Sean has been subject to shocking racism in his career and eloquently shares his visceral experiences. Sean is a highly engaging and experienced facilitator who has considerable experience and expertise of working in the educational and corporate sectors.
He is also Chair of the Football Association of Wales Equality Diversity and Integrity Steering Group and is also currently completing a UEFA A Football Coaching qualification
Sean engages his audience by providing real life examples of the barriers he has faced in in his sporting and professional career.
